So going with that story you can see why I’m not too fond of using toothpaste to get rid of pimples. Don’t let this put you off however as I mentioned earlier it varies from skin type to skin type. I have really sensitive skin and that’s why I had this reaction to the toothpaste. Others will have more success. The science behind it is really quite simple. Most toothpastes use baking soda to help whiten your teeth. The baking soda will draw out the pus contained in the pimple if a small pea sized amount is applied to the infected area. It’s best to do this before going to bed for a few reasons. The main one being it’s not too much fun walking around with everyone staring at a big blog of toothpaste you have on your face! Although I did work with a lady who thought this was perfectly normal, she was also fond of flossing her teeth at her desk. I’m getting sidetracked. Before bed apply a little toothpaste on to your skin and leave to dry. The next morning wash off the toothpaste and at least you should see that the pimple isn’t as red or swollen as it was before applying this treatment. Toothpaste is pretty good for reduction the inflammation caused by the pimple underneath the skin. Quite frequently this is the worst part of having a pimple and you apply the toothpaste at the correct time you may never see those awful pus filled white heads appearing on your face!

So try it if you dare! It is possible to get rid of pimples using toothpaste. Use your standard Colgate, Aquafresh etc as long as it contains baking soda and you’re there! This is a great home remedy for getting rid of pimples.

One method you can try to get rid of pimples on your nose is by using one of the many home remedies that is out there to get your skin looking fresh and clean again. There are numerous cures out there you can try using ingredients found in any kitchen including yours! I’ve read recently about some people having success by using dry oatmeal and scrubbing this on the spot. Don’t rub this on your acne too much though or you may accidentally take the head off it and then you’re looking at a scab which may take a few days to heal. You can try mixing the dry oatmeal with a little baking soda then add a little water to make it into a nice paste. Apply this on to your skin and leave for around 15 minutes. Make sure you’ve given your skin a good clean with hot water and soap beforehand to make sure your pores are nice and clean. One thing you don’t want to be doing is applying home remedies for getting rid of zits and you end up making it worse because your skin isn’t clean! Anyway, wash off the oatmeal and baking soda paste after 15 minutes and you should start to see some of the swelling going down around the affected area. The idea here is that the baking soda will draw out the pimple and make it a little easier to get rid of it. It may also help to reduce any redness in the area.

I’d always recommend introducing a facial steaming at least once a week into your skin care routine. This will help to open up your pores and reduce the chance of getting pimples on your nose again in the future. The great thing about having a facial steaming is that it will cover all areas of your face and not just your nose. It may help to reduce pimples all over your skin. Make sure to give your face a good clean after the facial to make sure any gunk that has come out is cleaned away and you’re starting afresh for the new week ahead. I mentioned in a few other posts how important it is to eat healthy and drink plenty of water. This is all integral to keep your skin clean and having pimple free skin. Eating lots of fruit and vegetables will help reduce pimples on your skin because of the natural nutrients in the food. I know we all don’t have much time for it with our busy working lives but making time for exercise can reduce spots on your skin. Yes it is true by exercising regularly you will reduce the chances of getting pimples on your nose and skin in general.

It’s also possible to get pimples on the inside of your nose which are really nasty. There isn’t really too much you can do to get rid of these but at least the good thing is there not visible for everyone to see so although they are unpleasant you don’t have the social stigma of having a big pimple on your nose. Also your really don’t want to be putting any kinda of treatment inside your nose to get rid of the pimple so I’m afraid you’ll have to live with these types of spots. Eat healthily, drink plenty of water and exercise regularly and this will go a long way to keeping your skin pimple free.

So you’ve been to the doctor and you don’t have an STI (hopefully) and it simply is some pimples on your penis how can you get rid of them? First things first, do not pop them! Don’t ever squeeze a pimple on your penis as you’ll only make the situation far worse than it is. Squeezing can cause inflammation which can actually spread the bacteria that caused the pimple. This leads to spreading the pimples so you’ll actually end up with more or worse scarring! Make sure you wash your skin daily with soap to make sure your skin is nice and clean. I should also point out that it’s quite normal to have pimples like this on your testicles too and treatment is exactly the same as those on the penis. Pimples on the penis, genitals or testicles usually start to appear during teenage years but there’s no reason why you would experience this later on in life. I’ve read some stats suggestion that as many as 8 out of 10 will get pimples on their penis or testicles at some point in their life so guys you’re not alone out there trust me. In most cases pimples will only last for a week or two and go away themselves as long you don’t touch them or try to squeeze them to speed up the natural process your body has of getting rid of them. If after a few weeks they are still there don’t sit at home worrying about it. Make sure you go to see a doctor or dermatologist who will be able to put your mind at ease.

As I mentioned earlier make sure you shower daily and use a pH neutral soap to clean your penis and testicles. In most cases pimples on your penis or genitals is nothing serious to worry about but if you notice the condition getting worse of there are lumps appearing which are inflamed you must visit your doctor immediately. Trust me 5 minutes of embarrassed will be well worth the fact that you don’t need to worry about it anymore.

How to get rid of pimples overnight is one of our modern day conundrums! It doesn’t matter if you have a date, a job interview or just plain don’t want a pimple on your face you want to get rid of that pimple as soon as possible. But can you get rid of a pimple over night? Is there some miracle cure out there which can clear up your skin and leave you worry free the next day? Treating pimples overnight can be done but its not as straightforward as you would hope. The quick answer is not however, to pop that pimple! I know how tempting this is and you think if I just give it a little squeeze my problems will disappear in a little pus filled cloud. This is absolutely not the case. Popping it, especially before it’s ready will make things worse. You’ll end up firstly with a big red blotchy patch on your face no doubt followed by a scab when the area heals the next day. A scab is no better than having a pimple there! The bad news first off is that there is no miracle cure for getting rid of pimples over night. There are a lot of ointments and over the counter remedies out there you can try but there isn’t anything which will completely remove the pimple from your skin.

One thing you can do to prevent pimples from occurring in the future is to take a look at your diet. An easy thing to remedy is to make sure you’re drinking enough water each day. Some would recommend drinking around 8 glasses of water a day to help cleanse your skin and flush out any toxins in the body. It’s true to that stress can cause a pimple outbreak and if possible look at ways of reducing stress in your life. Stress can lead to pimples so look for ways to unwind and make sure you spend enough time on yourself relaxing especially if you have a high stress job. As far as food goes, try to stay away from fast food or meals which have a lot of grease in them. This is really bad for the skin. There are a few people out there who would recommend you stay away from chocolate as this can lead to a pimple outbreak. Personally I’ve never read any conclusive evidence which would suggest eating chocolate can be bad for you skin. Plus it’s just far too tasty to give up!

There are a few home remedies you can try to get rid of pimples overnight. If it doesn’t get rid of the pimple completely it will at least reduce it in size by a little which should hopefully make you feel a little less self conscious about it and let you get on with your day worry free. Personally I’ve had some success with toothpaste on a pimple. Toothpaste can help to get rid of a pimple on your face if you apply some after washing the affected area with soap and water. Dab a little toothpaste on the pimple and leave to dry before going to bed. Wash off the next morning and you should see a difference in the size of the pimple. It may not seem as inflamed as it was the previous day. Make sure you don’t put too much toothpaste on the area as I have found it can dry your skin quite badly if you keep putting more and more toothpaste on the area. Dry skin is another problem which we don’t want as a result of trying to get rid of a pimple! I’ve heard of some people having some success using egg white on the pimple as well as some lemon juice. I myself haven’t tried this but it won’t do your skin any harm so if you don’t have any success with the toothpaste you could try egg white or lemon juice to get rid of the pimple. If you’re using egg whites make sure you wash your hands immediately after use.

As part of prevention make sure you cleanse your skin every night as this is an essential part of curing pimples. You can try a soap enriched with aloe vera to cleanse your skin or even lemon juice to properly cleanse your skin with the citrus fruit. Exfoliating skin care products are also excellent for cleaning out your pores of any gunk or grime. As I mentioned in my first post, if your pimple problems seem to be getting worse make sure you visit your doctor as it could be a problem related to an allergic reaction to a food or some sort of cosmetic product you’re using on your face. You have to be prescribed medicine to help your skin in the form of face cream or pills. If it is a more serious issue you may be referred to a dermatologist.

How to get rid of pimples overnight is not an easy question to answer but hopefully from the steps outlined above you can tackle the problem head on. With a combination of good diet, stress free life and home remedies you can get any pimple problems under control and under certain conditions you can get rid of a pimple overnight. My greatest success has been with using toothpaste on the affected area. Make sure you’re using a toothpaste which contains baking soda as this is the active ingredient which draws out the pus from the pimple or in some cases reduces inflamation making it look like there was never a pimple there on your skin in the first place. Don’t expect to get any miracle cures from the doctor to get rid of pimples in an instant from what you can see above you should realise that it is a combination of factors that are required to improve your skin and keep it blemish free. With a few changes and bit of hard work there’s no reason why you can’t have great looking skin!

Here a few brief steps which you can follow to get rid of pimples and get your skin under control.

Rule number one, do not, I repeat do not pop the pimple! This can leave you with scars and will only make the situation worse as you will have to wait for the popped pimple to heal. This could leave with you with a sore on your face and will no doubt result in a scab which will take even longer to heal. Worst case scenario is that you will end up with acne scarring which is a completely different thing to take on altogether. Believe me folks you do not want to end up with acne scars! If you pop a pimple before you see the pus you’re actually risking infection of the skin or even a cyst as you could push the infection further in to the pore. Do not attempt to pop the pimple if you cannot see the pus.

If you can see the pus of the pimple then you can use the following method to eradicate the area of the pimple. You will need a small sewing needle, some alcohol, warm water and some gauze. The alcohol will take of sterilising the needle. Ensure you’ve washed your hands before you attempt this procedure. Also make sure you have washed your face of any oils or make up to ensure you don’t risk infection. Dip the needle into the alcohol and apply a little to your fingers and to the pimple on your face. Use some gauze to dab and dry the effected area. Use the needle to prick the pimple using only the tip. Do this lightly then use two pieces of gauze and put pressure till the pus is out and clear liquid or blood comes out of the pore. Wipe the area clean by soaking some gauze in alcohol and wipe the surface of your pimple to avoid any infection. You can then seal it with a sterile band aid to again reduce the risk of any infection.

This is of course one quick method for how to get rid of a pimple. Over the course of the next few weeks I’ll cover natural ways to get rid of pimples and then how to avoid getting pimples in the first place. This is obviously much better as you won’t have to deal with any pimples. Prevention is the key. If you keep your skin clean there is no reason why it cannot remain pimple free. If you feel that your pimples are out of control you may have a more serious issue with your skin so I would recommend that you speak to your doctor about it who will no doubt refer you to a dermatologist. They may provide you with a specialised treatment plan or some medication such as creams or pills which will get your pimple problem under control.
